My AmeriCorps Application process

The new "My AmeriCorps " Recruiting System is still under construction. It needs some improvement, but I think it will get worked out shortly. We have also been forwarding emails to some people over the last few days. Those automated emails (from the website) have included a broken link to our application. The real link is

Our Application Process is:
Go to (or click link above)
complete the online app and references
select our program * CAC AmeriCorps

After we receive your application we will send you a list of the teams/sites (or they will be posted here). Select your #1 Team choice and we will conduct 2 interviews the first one is with your site supervisor and the 2nd is with the CAC AmeriCorps Program Director, John Harris. We either offer you a position or decline within a week of the two interviews being complete. We understand that high quality prospective AmeriCorps members have to make a big decision and we want to be up front and not make people wait for our decision. If we offer you the position, you have up to 2 weeks to decide and commit. All CAC AmeriCorps members must submit to and pass a drug screen, background check, and physical prior to service in August, 2008.
