2009-2010 CAC AmeriCorps Positions at Beardsley Community Farm are officially closed...

Congrats to Brian Blackmon, Claire Godschalk, Graham Taylor, and Rachel Winner.

We look forward to this group serving in our community and making a tremendous impact over this next year.

Brian is a graduate of University of South Carolina. He is currently in Montana serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA - working with ranchers/ land management.

Claire is a graduate of University of Mary Washington (BA in Theatre Design). She has volunteered in community gardens and has a passion for food security.

Graham is a graduate of UVA (BS in Biology). He has an extensive background in gardening and landscapes and is going to Medical School after his service.

Rachel is a graduate of Dickinson College (BA in Int'l Studies). She has passion for sustainable development and has been working on her college's farm since 2006.
